Cultural Intelligence

Through an increase in culturally diverse teams and international collaborations, organizational effectiveness is increasingly dependent on people who can be effective and respectful in a variety of cultural situations. For a long time, this aspect of effectiveness was very difficult to measure and develop. Research now shows that evidence-based assessments of cultural intelligence (CQ), paired with development tools, is a powerful way to ensure positive work relationships across individual cultural origins and create a platform for more innovation, efficiency and work place satisfaction.

David Livermore, PhD, leads the Cultural Intelligence Center and consults partners around the world. Dave has written nine books on cultural intelligence and global leadership and has worked with companies, governments, and non-profits in more than 100 countries.

As Corporate HR will begin working with Cultural Intelligence within recruitment and integration, we have invited David Livermore to address all interested DTU employees for an introduction to the theme.
