We only supply scientific literature within the DTU subject area.
Service for DTU staff and DTU students
Ordering of books:
Search in ALIS, the library catalogue. If you do not find the requested book title, choose “Special order” at the bottom of the ALIS interface and fill in the form.
(Remember to login using the library card number and bar code).
Ordering of articles:
Search DTU Digital Library (DTU login).
If you do not find the requested article via the SFX facility or the search form, you will automaticaly be guided to an ordering form.
Urgent delivery:
Literature you need urgently can be ordered on phone number 4525 7415 between 9.00 and 15.00 on weekdays. See "Urgent delivery fee" in the current price list.
Services for other users
Ordering of books:
Search ALIS, the library catalogue. If you do not find the requested book, we suggest you use www.bibliotek.dk. In this national database you can order on line and pick up the book at your local public library.
We may be able to provide DTU relevant scientific literature at a fee, see current price list.
Ordering of articles:
Journal articles from journals not available at the Technical Information Center of Denmark, i.e. they are not to be found in List of Journals, can be ordered via ”Special order” in the library catalogue ALIS at a fee, see current price list.

Return of material
Literature borrowed via DTU Library must be returned to DTU Library.
Remember to return books to other libraries on time - we depend on the goodwill of our partner libraries.
Renewal of loans from other libraries
Special rules apply for loans from other libraries via DTU Library. The lending period is usually only four weeks from the day we receives the material. At renewal beyond the four weeks, we follow the rules of the library in question. We will try to renew the material for you if you call us on phone 4525 7250 between 9.00 and 16.00 on weekdays.
Books from libraries in other countries can not be renewed.
Back
