ALIS is the common library catalogue for DTU Library and some of the DTU departments

DTU Library books and journals in print are registered in ALIS as well as books and journals from the most DTU departments. The database is set up to search DTU Library. You are however able to choose between searching both DTU Library (called DTU Library) and DTU department material or to search a single department exclusively.
In the DTU Library part of ALIS all books published after 1968 and all journal titles in print are registered. Books published before 1968 are registered continuously. Unregistered titles can be searched in the card catalogue of DTU Library.
It is not possible to search for articles, due to the fact that it is only the journal titles that are registered.
Subject search
It is possible to perform subject searches in ALIS due to the registration of the titles with subject keywords and UDK-numbers (subject numbers).

Ordering in ALIS
Users who are registered at DTU Library can order articles and books directly in ALIS.
