The new DTU Orbit is live - Monday 16 April
All DTU publications, projects, books, reports, conferences etc. are still registered in the research database, but the system behind DTU Orbit as well as the user interface is new. The system used for the new DTU Orbit is standard software used by the other Danish universities - and by many universities worldwide.
DTU Orbit now offers new search features. The most significant change is in the overall navigation, allowing you to search across all data. With just one click you can limit your search to publications, projects, activities, researchers or research units. Your are searching both the descriptions and any attached full text/files.
With DTU login you gain access the full text when available to DTU users. Login also provides access to statistics.
The new DTU Orbit does not alter the way the DTU publications are registered - registration is still done by DTU Library. DTU researcehers can at any time check their publications in MyPublications in DTU Digital Library. And from MyPublications they may send any missing publications to the registration team at the library. From now on registration of projects and activities, is done by using the registration forms available in MyPublications.
More than 140,000 research publications, projects and activities are registered in DTU Orbit. Via the search interface, export to homepages and, not least, by making data available for Google, DTU Orbit is engaged in disseminating information about DTU research.
Improvements and adjustments to the system will be made continuously, and any feedback is appreciated.
